2. Create Your Own Facebook Group for Business

How to Create Facebook Group for Business

Not only Facebook pages their also Facebook groups that can get help to grow your small business.

With Facebook groups, you can attract new clients and interact well with your current clients.

After you create Facebook Business Page as above, to create a Facebook group on a computer go to the Facebook page> Group section first.

Then click on “Create Linked Group” button.

Create Facebook Group for Business.

Then choose a name for your group.

Here I named my group “Fruity Juice lovers”.

After you choose a name for your Facebook group there are two options to select, public & private as privacy options.

Public- Anyone can see who is in the group and what they post.

Private-Only members can see who is in the group and what they post.

I choose the Public privacy option for my group that I show above.

After complete, all the options click on the “create” button.

Congratulation!! Now you have a Facebook business page and Facebook business group.

After you create a group as I mention above, there is a option to edit cover photo of your Business.

Add cover photo that relevant to your business.

The cover photo that I added to my “Fruity Juice Lover” group in the above picture.

After you did all the steps correctly there is a way to get members easily.

This button allows you to invite people who like your page to join your group.

I know now your question is: I already have a page but didn’t have like.

So, now time to publish content (Images, Videos, Post) to get Likes and engagements.

Before publishing content on your page you need an editorial calendar to organize posts that you publish and it’s made it easy to manage your pages and groups through an Editorial Calendar.

3. Create an Editorial Calendar for Business

To create an editorial calendar, follow the below steps.

1- Identify the community that you want to promote your business.

As I mentioned earlier, the first step in creating your editorial calendar is to choose the right community for your marketing.

For example, if your business is food-related, you should target people who like food.

If your business is about pets, there is no point in targeting people who like your food.

The fruit juice bar I took earlier, should be targeted at people who like food as well as especially fruit drinks and fruit juices.

2- Research content relevant to the community that you choose.

Now I have already identified the people I need to target my business.

The next step is to find out what content I need to put in for those people to like my Facebook page.

3- Come up with content ideas that you want to cover.

Now you have already identified the people you need to target your business.

The next step is to find out what content you need to publish for those people to like your Facebook page.

To do this, get inspiration from the contents of the leaders’ Facebook pages in your field.

Enter your business field in the Facebook search bar and run search.

For example, since my business is a juice bar, I have to search for a juice bar.

Then check the content of the pages that have the most likes in your business field.

You can also get likes when you publish similar content on your competitor’s page that has more likes.

The image below shows some of the ideas found in the juice bar business that I mentioned above as my example.

4- List all the content that you want to cover.

The easiest way is to list such content in an Excel worksheet that you also need to cover.

When you find 10-15 such topics to cover, you should arrange them in the order in which they should be published on your page.
The next step is to find an editorial calendar tool.

5- Find an editorial calendar tool

There are different types of editorial calendar tools.

I use Google Calendar which is a free tool.

In addition, there are different types of tools, such as KanbanFlow, Trello, Monday.

But I think the Google Calendar tool is good enough for this.

6- Schedule all the content that you want to publish

Once you have selected the Editorial Calendar tool, you must schedule the dates on which the content will be published.

The next step is to create that content in an engaging way.

4. Publish Engaging Content

There are two main ways to do this.

One is to create content yourself.

The second method is to hire an experienced person.

The method I follow is to hire a creator through Fiverr to create the content list that we created as the above step.

It saves me a lot of time as well as leads to quality content.

5. Join with other Facebook Groups with your Business page

After following all the above steps, this is also the best way to promote your business on Facebook for free.

This is because groups like these already have a large number of active members to suit your business.

To do this, search for your business field in the Facebook search bar as before and go to the Facebook group section.
